Some of our courses are Grundtvig in-service training events published on the Grundtvig/ Comenius training database. Participants can receive a grant covering tuition and travel from the EU. This grant is approved and issued by the National Agency of the country in which participants are resident following their application.
Those teaching in adult education apply for a Grundtvig grant, those teaching in a school for a Comenius grant.
The procedure is as following:
1. Pre-registration: after inquiring if there are free places in the course you complete the pre registration form and send it to bioscenter@cytanet.com.cy
2. After receiving your pre-registration form we will send you confirmation of pre-registration.
3. Applying for a grant: send your Grundvig or Comenius grant application form together with
the pre-registration confirmation to your National Agency.
The grant application form and all other relevant information can be found on the website of your National Agency: ec.europa.eu/education/programmes
Deadlines for grant application:
16/01/2012 (for training starting on or after 1 May 2012)
30/04/2012 (for training starting on or after 1 Sept 2012)
17/09/2012 (for training starting on or after 1 Jan 2013)
4. Ca. 2 months after your application the National Agency will inform you if you have been awarded a grant.
5. You should then immediately contact us to formally register for the course or, if you have not been awarded a grant, to cancel the pre-registration. Registration is completed after transferring the total sum indicated to our
bank account.
6. If you have not received a grant and cannot cover the expenses from any other source you can cancel pre-registration without any cost.
